Lead the QA team in performing unit, UI/UX, defect, system, and integration testing on Salesforce Commerce Cloud based sites.
Design, develop, document, and implement QA processes company-wide, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Designers to ensure the highest level of quality product is delivered.
Create and document test cases and scripts for larger projects, including end-to-end eCommerce site launches, and guide the team in their execution.
Conduct additional testing as needed with other vendor applications and other Salesforce Clouds, coordinating efforts with relevant stakeholders.
Drive the ongoing process of improving test efficiency and accuracy by identifying opportunities for process optimization and advocating for necessary tool and infrastructure improvements.
Actively participate in team meetings, working closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers to foster collaboration and align testing efforts.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistent quality standards are upheld.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years of specific experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) testing (Preferred).
Proficiency in testing eCommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of SFCC features and extensions.
Proven experience in a QA Lead or similar role, with a strong background in software testing methodologies and processes.
Ability to effectively switch between clients and projects, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling quick adaptation within a dynamic environment.
Experience conducting QA testing in SFCC (formerly Demandware) environments, including familiarity with Business Manager.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) or other defect tracking systems to manage and track testing activities effectively.
