Exciting news We are looking for an EUC Engineer to join our growing IT team. As part of the IT EUC team, you will be responsible for the build and maintenance of our organization's end-user computing environment and assist with rolling out new IT hardware to support the wider business. You will need to previous experience of providing technical EUC support in a retail environment, with high Level of proficiency in all MS office suite applications, desktop operating systemsand server administration to be successful in this role. Main Responsibilities:

Manage user requests for new desktop hardware, from order through to fulfillment and dispatch

Place hardware orders with suppliers (e.g. PC's, tills, laptops, mobile phones, peripherals)

Build, install, and configure desktop hardware devices ensuring compliance with IT policies

Perform general maintenance tasks and remedial repairs on end users devices, i.e. PC's, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment

Identify, log, and troubleshoot end user hardware and desktop application issues and requests, working to agreed SLA's and documenting all progress on the IT Service Management Tool

Familiarize end users on basic desktop software, hardware, and peripheral device operation as part of the new starter process and user training

Develop knowledge of PC and POS operating systems and application software to provide a high level of support

Work with other IT teams to support key deliverables in relation to the build and installation of EUC hardware

Ensure the provision and correct set up and maintenance of printers and handheld devices

Assist with the troubleshooting of any network connectivity and telephony issues, working with other IT Teams and support partners

Provide ongoing patch management and assist with the delivery of service improvements and innovation in relation to the EUC devices

Familiarity with EUC and POS hardware components, peripherals, and interfaces

Skills and Qualifications:

Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, Windows 7, 8.1, 10 Windows Deployment Services/MST

Good communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills

Able to manage time effectively and prioritize workload

Technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware

Basic networking skills e.g. LAN/WAN/VPN support

Works well under pressure and can multitask

Ideally will hold a full clean driving license as travel between group sites may be required

Experience of working in an ITIL environment
