This position will be fully remote with a leading health information technology consulting company. Our mission is to enhance and support the capabilities of public health organizations and healthcare providers by providing high-quality consulting services, strategic planning, and software development including open source.

In this role you will:

The engineer will also contribute to the back end development of the same applications while working together with this company's back end developers.In this position, the engineer will collaborate with the company's other software engineers and business analysts to support custom enterprise systems for our clients, who include public health agencies and their partners.The engineer will participate in the design and development of new applications and services, implement enhancements to existing systems, and maintain and support the production environments for this company's clients.The engineer will also participate in the effort to migrate legacy applications to modern frameworks. The work will be performed within a fast paced, highly collaborative environment and will have a significant positive impact on public health.Required Skills:

Professional Software Engineering Experience: 5+ yearsReact: 3+ yearsNode.js: 3+ yearsTypescript: 1+ yearsJavaScript, HTML, CSS: 3+ yearsComponent-based developmentCSS-in-JS (e.g. Styled Components)Experience interfacing with GraphQL and REST APIsDesigning and Developing Web ApplicationsUnit Testing, Integration Testing, E2E Testing, and UI Performance TestingTroubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing bugs in complicated enterprise systemsWorking in Linux programming environmentsUtilizing Git and GitOpsPlus Skills:
