Your Opportunity as the Senior Specialist, Quality AssuranceLocation: Orrville, OHWork Arrangements: 100% on-siteReports to: QA ManagerIn this role you will: Drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with BRC, Quality Key Elements and regulatory requirementsAccountable for key quality results and systems impacting, lab verification, records traceability, training, pest control, and holds & positive release Quality Key Elements.Work collaboratively with 3rd party Service company, Plant Planning and Corporate Quality Assurance to build effective relationships to drive key business objectivesProvide coaching and support to Quality Functional Leaders and TechniciansFunction as backup for cross functional team membersResponsible for investigating and communicating responses for consumer complaintsParticipate/Lead quality defect root cause analysis investigationsDevelop and implement cost reduction and work process improvement projectsExecute quality assurance laboratory analytical testing to deliver accurate JJP quality analyses, and reporting into Proficy, Oracle and WMS systemsDeliver accurate process attributes & instructions consistent with standards necessary for the release and control of all incoming, in process product qualityProcess/Packing Analytical Support including maintenance of lab equipment, ordering supplies, coordinating Progressive Maintenance (PM) and repair with vendors, verification of new equipment and troubleshooting of instrument problemsResponsible for working through raw material/packaging complaints with logistics and vendorsAble to meet all safety expectations, including wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all safe practicesThe Right Place for YouWe are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
