Type of Internship: unpaid

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Java Developer intern to join our team. This internship position offers hands-on experience in Java application development and cloud computing using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain Java applications and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
  • Utilize AWS services for building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and follow best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
  • Learn and apply new technologies and tools related to Java and AWS.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Previous internship or project experience in Java development is a plus.
