That's WEISLocation Address:1204 Millersville PikeJob Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:Keeps frozen food well stocked and always appealing to meet customer demands, while achieving efficiency and productivity standards. Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.Ensures that frozen food product is fresh and saleable by following rotation standards. Also ensures that product is correctly priced with proper tags or signage. Handles spoiled and damaged merchandise, or merchandise that may be getting close to expiration according to company procedures and standards.Maintains condition of the sales floor, cooler and backroom.Responsible for general sanitation in the department. Follows cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure that work areas, equipment, counters, display cases, etc. are well maintained, clean and meet all health and OSHA requirements. Disposes of trash properly.May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries through operation of power jack or hand jack if properly trained. Training provided.May assist with baling cardboard or other related duties if properly trained. Training provided.Helps review orders to manage inventory levels. Minimize loss by following time and temperature guidelines. Reports damages and/or discrepancies to management.Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors. Responsible to continuously improve job performance.Responsible for utilization of all company provided Personal Protected Equipment (PPE). Including but not limited to cut resistant gloves, safety cutters, company sponsored footwear, etc.May also be called upon to assist in other departments.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, the Associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation.
