Our hospitals, care sites and clinicians are recognized for clinical and operational excellence.**Lead CT Tech** **_– St. Mary's Hospital_****Job Summary:**The Lead CT Technologist leads the associates working in their department. They will utilize scanning equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and provide treatment of patients.**Essential Functions:**+ Demonstrates leadership behavior to maintain proper staffing levels and assigns call.+ Maintains accreditation and regulatory compliance of CT department.+ Confirms the quality and accuracy of all pertinent patient and procedural data.+ Properly position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles+ Makes radiation exposures by energizing scanner per request and patient history.+ Performs intravenous injections and demonstrates a knowledge of IVs, administers oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contracts agents.+ Assists the radiologist with biopsies and drainage procedures.+ Maintains a working knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.**Education:**+ Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)**Licensure/Certification:**+ Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)+ Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)+ Advanced modality registration in CT from ARRT (preferred)+ State Licensure (preferred)**Experience:**+ 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (required)+ EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)+ Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)Many of our opportunities reward* your hard work with:Comprehensive, affordable medical, dental and vision plansPrescription drug coverageFlexible spending accountsLife insurance w/AD&DEmployer contributions to retirement savings plan when eligiblePaid time offEducational AssistanceAnd much more*Benefits offerings vary according to employment statusAll applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, genetic information, or protected veteran status, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
