Child Development Associates (“CDA”); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations relevant to the operation of a child care facility
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide ranging audience including those with varied educational levels and backgrounds
Must be able to pass a general physical; must be able to lift more than 25+ lbs

Duties & Responsibilities
Oversees the facility’s finances to include: budget maintenance, tuition billing, and maintaining inventory of all supplies
Maintains a clean and tidy facility consistent with health and safety standards, including weekly setup and tear down activities and storage of supplies
Serves as a liaison between the Daycare and the Fredericksburg Kidspoint Director, encouraging collaboration and upkeep of shared spaces and resources
Implements monthly trainings to enhance the skill and professionalism of the staff
Responsible for the evaluation of programs and curriculum, including individual classroom observations
Schedules staff and manages time-off requests, ensuring proper staff to student ratios are maintained
Establishes student schedules in coordination with parents/guardians
Develops and adjusts policies and procedures to include those related to accidents and injuries, staff expectations, cleanliness etc.; ensures the proper implementation of these policies and procedures
Handles interpersonal relations among team members, encouraging a life-giving environment
Maintains staff and student document files
Responsible for the development and spiritual guidance/leadership of the daycare staff team, to include meeting monthly with each staff member
