DescriptionResponsibilities
- Maintain Windows Server and Active Directory environment. This includes user creation/deletion, group management, directory rights, print services, GPOs, and other server and AD services
- Setup and maintain Windows 10/11 desktops
- Management of Office 365 tenant and applications (Email, Teams, Sharepoint, PowerBI)
- Maintain VMware ESXi hosts
- Administrate network software that runs patch management, anti-virus/anti-malware, vulnerability management, and server backups/replication
- Review internal Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Electronic Log Monitoring (ELM) reports
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors providing network products and services to the bank
- Asset management for mobile devices and network hardware, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- Perform hardware and software upgrades
- Maintain a sufficient understanding of and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements as applicable
- Continuous education with schooling or training as offered
- Associate's degree in the field of computer science or three years equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Certification a plus
- Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows 2016 Server OS and Windows 10/11 workstation OS
- Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Active Directory
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
- Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong documentation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Maintain a sufficient understanding of and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements as applicable
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be available during non-business hours
- Branch travel required periodically
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components
- Occasional inspection of cables in walls and ceilings
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
