INSOLVENCY ANALYST – RESTRUCTURING – CAYMAN ISLANDS – MANAGER ROLE ALSO POSSIBLE – 0% INCOME TAX – HR501 About this opportunity Do you want your career to take off? Based in Cayman, as an Insolvency Analyst you will support management and be responsible for performing the day-to-day investigations and analysis for Corporate Recovery, Forensic or Insolvency assignments for this well-known firm . We can make this happen for you. As an Insolvency Analyst, your responsibilities will include: Supporting management and being responsible for performing the day-to-day case work on corporate recovery cases including local and cross-border insolvencies, liquidations, restructurings, financial investigations, and litigation support The successful applicant is expected to be client focused and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of insolvency and corporate recovery assignments and an awareness of the strategies and plans for engagements You must be able to exercise good judgement and foresight in routine decisions, cope with uncertainty, be able to create processes and structures to implement and follow through on the engagement plan and be able to identify and set priorities with minimal supervision and understand how to work efficiently You will be expected to perform your duties with appropriate confidentiality and professionalism, demonstrate initiative and accountability and be able to operate in a demanding environment What you'll need An insolvency, accounting and/or legal qualification from an internationally recognized institution or professional body 3+ years of relevant professional experience working on Court supervised insolvency and restructuring cases A demonstrable working knowledge of insolvency principles/frameworks and corporate recovery assignments together with an awareness of the strategies and plans for such engagements A proven ability to practically apply knowledge to solve problems and exceptional report writing skills Sound time management skills and proven ability to successfully administer multiple projects through to completion An ability to meet tight deadlines is required to be successful in this demanding and driven industry A willingness and capacity to put in extra time when necessary and/or travel at short notice A high degree of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong interpersonal characteristics For the right candidate if you have 5+ years' relevant experience, there is the chance to be hired at Manager level.
