Apply TodayJob Summary and QualificationsAs an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will demonstrate proficiency in all pharmacist functions by attending and actively participating in daily multidisciplinary and bedside rounds, completing drug utilization review to promote rational drug therapy, leading and developing clinical services, mentoring and educating staff to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation of clinical activities. You will conduct drug regimen reviews and responds to specific polypharmacy, pharmacokinetic and medication/MAR reconciliation consults. You will recommend and monitor drug therapy as assigned by the medical staff. Utilizes expertise to train, mentor and supervise PharmD candidates, pharmacy residents, and technicians. Train and participate in facility wide committees and training programs. What you will do in this role:As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will interpret orders and transcribes or verifies them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer systemYou will accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticalsYou will comply with facility policy and procedures and regulatory requirementsYou will monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and doseYou will provide clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners.
