Job Overview:

We are seeking a Naval Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of innovative maritime solutions, contributing to the optimization of performance, safety, and efficiency of our marine vessels and structures.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize strong modeling skills in Rhino and SolidWorks for design tasks
  • Perform stability analysis (intact and damage) to ensure seaworthiness of vessels
  • Conduct structural design using FEA software, with a focus on composite structures
  • Predict resistance & propulsion for high-speed craft, employing expertise in this area
  • Utilize CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for analysis
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and design rationale to internal teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience
  • Strong modeling skills in Rhino & SolidWorks
  • Experience in high-speed/small craft design, construction, and testing preferred
  • On-water experience preferred
