Site Reliability Engineer III - Kubernetes Administration As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in the SaaS Operations team you'll be part of a team who measures and improves production performance reliability through sustainable engineering practices for our suite of applications. Toil will be your number one enemy, observability your closest friend and your mission will be to drive operational burden as close to zero as you can.

This position is 100% remote.

How will you contribute? Hands-on execution of Kubernetes (EKS based solution). Manage Kubernetes control plane and data plane. Help with critical architectural decisions. Explore and/or execute advanced Kubernetes concepts. Chaos engineering. Build CI/CD solutions. Create world-class observability. Automate Kubernetes and non-Kubernetes tasks and toils. Help with our tech stack to migrate to cutting-edge technologies. Perform work for platform upkeep.

What will you bring? Strong experience working on a high-volume SaaS application managed with modern Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies/tooling. Experience with administering container technologies and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher). Experience with running/managing systems and services on a cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Experience managing and using CI/CD systems (Flux, Circle CI, Concourse, Jenkins, TravisCI). Strong experience working with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with deploying and operating of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, LGTM, Splunk). Familiarity with working with relational databases MSSQL or MySQL databases. Background working in a multi-platform environment (Linux, Windows). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies. Strong knowledge around of programming/scripting languages (ie. Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, etc.). Ownership and collaboration with attitude to help other succeed. Strong interpersonal skills. A can-do attitude and sense of urgency for a high growth/fast paced environment. Proven track record of owning a complex technical project from inception to completion. Education and Experience Minimum 5+ years industry experience. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Curious mind, wanting to learn new technologies and share with others. The ability to think outside of the box to resolve issues and create long lasting solutions. Firm understanding of networking concepts and technologies. Firm understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts. Experience in fault tolerant system design.

Salary: $109K-140K/yr. DOE
