State Tax Supervisor

Our client is a veterinary hospital. They seek a State Tax Supervisor to join their Westlake Village, CA office. The opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities
Produce corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns
Carry out quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions
Prepare interim and year-end tax provisions including current taxable income calculations
Work with finance and accounting personnel to collect and analyze financial data
Develop and uphold an understanding of the business for assigned entities
Research and answer responses to taxing authority inquiries
Provide tax support to other corporate and operating groups
Complete various tax projects as assigned relating to tax audits and tax planning

Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting, MBA preferred
2+ years of accounting experience
Corporate state and local tax experience
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CPA strongly preferred
