Relient Health is offering a unique opportunity for a caring and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This full-time, permanent position is a chance to make a real difference in the patients' lives at this facility.
Requirements
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Professional or Student Speech Language Pathologist experience
- Screening patients
- Performing evaluations and developing initial and interim treatment and discharge plans
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- If applicable, overseeing Clinical Fellowship Year Clinicians (SLP-CFYs)
- Developing and implementing new programs/techniques to enhance speech therapy services.
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality speech therapy services
- Putting patient service first
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology exam administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS)
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA)
- Eligibility to complete a post-graduate clinical fellowship (CFY)
- State licensure or provisional permit eligibility to practice as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
