Senior Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Customer Payments: Accurately record cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Daily Settlement: Execute the daily route settlement processing cycle.
  • Customer Interaction: Handle calls and emails regarding customer account activities promptly and professionally.
  • Account Reviews: Regularly review A/R aging reports for assigned chain and independent customers.
  • Invoice Adjustments: Implement necessary pricing corrections to customer invoices.
  • Collections: Initiate telephone calls and prepare collection letters to request payments from customers.
  • Account Updates: Maintain and update the authorized products list for large corporate accounts.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Assist in reviewing billing, collection, and cash posting processes to enhance efficiency and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Associates in Accounting preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable

Salary: $40,000 to $52,000
