Theresa Seremet, Founder & CEO of Therapy SouthYour Responsibilities as a Therapy South Employee:Adhere to company values and guiding principles set forth to support and respect those around you.Remain hopeful and curious about the people you meet and the children you intimately learn to love.Show respect and care for the physical spaces you work in and around.Celebrate growth, feedback and honor the process to get there.Your Responsibilities as a Therapy South SLP:Evaluate, screen, and provide diagnoses of speech and language or feeding disorders in children and provides assessment and/or consultation regarding speech and language, oral-motor, feeding skills, according to each learner's needs and physician recommendations, and according to specific program/grant guidelines and protocols.Develop, document, write, and clearly communicate treatment goals and treatment plans that honors the childs present level, the family's unique abilities, and a realistic timeline.Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals at Therapy South.Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support optimal client success.Contribute to clinical meetings and support the unique and rich culture at Therapy South.Manage caseload details and work with caregivers to achieve common goals.Complete all required documentation accurately, on time, and in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patient insurance requirements.Support the family and/or admin team with schedule management, which may include assisting with appointment confirmations, cancellations, and/or rescheduling.We are Currently Looking for Candidates with the Following Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.Strong clinical skills and expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders across diverse populations and age groups.Ability to lift 50 pounds and move easily on the floor during therapy sessions.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Excellent written and oral communication skills with a propensity for problem-solving and working within a team.Strong organizational skillsStrong technology skills and the ability to work within numerous online platforms such as Google Workspace, Trello, SLACK, and our Electronic Medical Record.A genuine joy and passion for working with children and their familiesA child-led approach to therapeutic care and a whole brain-body approach to child development.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current trends and advancements in the field of speech therapy.We Offer a Full Range of Benefits Including:Medical Insurance: Health & DentalPaid Time Off (that rolls over annually)Paid Sick LeavePaid HolidaysRetirement Savings PlanAnnual Continuing Education StipendPaid MentorshipBi-monthly Car AllowanceReferral BonusesMultiple Opportunities for Career AdvancementBalanced CaseloadsIntangible Benefits:A Celebration CultureTherapist Tailored Support, Friendship, and TogethernessLeadership in LoveEthical PracticesAppreciationConditions of Employment:You must be eligible to work in the United StatesMust be proficient in written and spoken EnglishSelected applicant will be subject to background checkWere excited to learn more about you and your passion for working with neurodiverse children.
