Cultivation Team Members will be responsible for properly executing daily tasks in Flower or Veg Rooms with full efficiency and a strong attention to detail. Those on the Cultivation Team will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a regulated horticulture environment with a preferable background in production management in comparable agriculture industries.This position will work directly with other support staff to comply with all cloning, feeding and phase change procedures including METRC and data inputs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and lead a team of propagation technicians.
Provide training and guidance to ensure staff follows SOPs for propagation and vegetative tasks.
Oversee the cloning process (Cut, Shape, plug) to ensure high rooting success rates.
Monitor environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and lighting, to support healthy root development.
Maintain accurate records of plant counts, stages, and locations within the propagation and vegetative areas.
Coordinate with the cultivation department to ensure a seamless transition of clones through various growth stages.
Implement quality control measures to identify and address issues such as pests, diseases, and poor root development.
Implement IPM protocols to prevent and address pest and disease issues in the propagation and veg/mom rooms.
Clone Care: Conduct a daily inspection of each clone and maintain proper moisture levels per SOP.
Plant Maintenance: Implement cultivation protocols per SOP to promote vigorous vegetative growth including weekly defoliation, pruning, lollipoping and removal of dead leaves.
Ensure compliance with state regulations including record-keeping and reporting requirements in metrc.
Prep and fulfill clone orders per SOP.
Generate regular reports on propagation success rates and any issues encountered.
Provide an end of day report to upper management regarding the status of the propagation and veg departments.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
One or more years of cultivation experience REQUIRED
Ability to pass a background check required
Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and a flexible schedule when needed
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task with effective time management
Willingness to comply with state regulations and guidelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and repetitive movements
Prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, and high intensity artificial lights
Must be able to move and/or lift a maximum of 60 pounds
Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heights

PAY
$18-20/hr
