We are currently looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to the team

Essential Responsibilities: Train and manage individuals who handle sourcing and procurement. Manage suppliers and maintain relationships. Provide regular reports to the President. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality. Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance. Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance. Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders. Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success. Monitor suppliers' activities to assess performance in meeting quality or delivery requirements. Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies. Ensure team places purchase orders in a timely manner

Qualifications: -Knowledge of: Aerospace supply chain operations Aerospace manufacturing and quality processes Aerospace adhesive bonding and composite processes FAR/DFAR Knowledge preferred -Experience with: Government Contracts -Proficiency in: Job BOSS ERP or similar ERP system Microsoft Office suite & Microsoft Applications -Ability to learn on the job and in a fast-paced environment

Experience: 5+ years prior procurement management experience Aerospace manufacturing preferred

Education Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, or related field Will substitute years of experience for degree
