Quality Inspector (1st Shift) Job Category: Operations Requisition Number: QUALI005601 Posted: June 26, 2025 Full-Time On-site Barnes Aero Bradley Park | 0148 39 Bradley Park Rd East Granby, CT 06026, USA Description Position Details: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm Your Expertise: 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment is a plus Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints or technical procedures Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes, and other measuring tools A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required Is your expertise different from the above? Apply today Your Challenge: Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components Experience operating CMM using PCDMIS a plus Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements Inspection includes visual and dimensional using required gaging and measuring equipment Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet customer criteria for an acceptable part Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part If a part is defective or needs re-work, Inspector must complete required paperwork associated with this task Education Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required This job position may include access to controlled information or technology subject to U.S. export control laws.
