Summary

Centersquare is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager that will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will support the company's capital planning process including annual budget, financial quarterly forecasts, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects. S/he will provide financial support to senior management including preparing management presentations, financial modeling, and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making from a capital planning perspective. The position will be based in Miami, FL or Dallas, TX.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the annual capex budget and forecasts, as needed, and serving as a central point for disseminating yearly targets
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting to Senior Management
  • Managing the inflow of capital requests, reports, and documents, collating information from various sources, reviewing and approving based on alignment with approved budgets, and coordinate the flow of information externally and internally
  • Financial modeling including but not limited to forecasting of payment timing related to approved capital commitments
  • Leading the preparation for and driving the weekly expenditure committee reviews
  • Working as a liaison between accounting, the operating teams & FP&A
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA highly preferred
  • 5+ years' progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and or Accounting
  • Previous experience with capital planning and reporting preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP BPC and/or other financial planning systems
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
