Job Responsibilities Manage ALM and capital stress testing modeling initiatives including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and balance sheet optimization. Direct and organize participation in preparation of the annual operating budget. Maintain budget information in accounting system. Review budget variances and reports results to management. Review and analyze “what if” scenarios for strategic planning. Prepare various analytical cost analyses and projections. Review cash management position to ensure adequate liquidity in an effort to optimize cash. Prioritize the accuracy and integrity of data incorporated into ALM and capital stress testing activities to support a comprehensive internal control environment. Oversee regular updates to model assumptions including loan prepayment speeds, deposit decay, and betas. Manage and evaluate modeling balance sheet, net interest income (NII), economic value (NEV), and forecast simulations across multiple scenarios. Present trends, opportunities, and issues to committees and senior management, making recommendations for action as appropriate. Review and assist in the development of finance policies and procedures, recommending changes to improve efficiency or strengthen controls. Assist CFO in potential growth opportunities. Specific Requirements Advanced knowledge of the financial services sector. BA/BS in Accounting; CPA credentials are required. Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment. Strong time management skills preferred. 5 years progressively responsible experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably with a financial institution. Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and manage time effectively. Demonstrated interest in contributing to and working by Climate First Bank’s Core Values. Possess the initiative to obtain education related to Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability practices.
