Provide a Class A+ level of service to tenants, internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Serves as team lead for a team of facilities engineers, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance. Teaches repair and maintenance to bolster junior members’ skills for their professional growth and development. Responsible for assigned buildings or serves the portfolio in a roving capacity with specialized trade skills. Performs maintenance and repairs, troubleshoots complex building system problems. Handles various duties related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, including inspections, building repairs, and calibrations. Demonstrates knowledge and hands-on skills in building automation, energy management, control systems, and fire protection. May perform basic carpentry, monitor snow removal, and address tenant work orders. May be called upon in an emergency to stabilize, secure, and make repairs necessary to maintain or re-establish occupancy. Qualifications: Mechanical proficiency; use of power tools. Knowledge of MEP and life safety systems. Track record of working in a safe and responsible manner, knowledgeable about OSHA safety and compliance regulations. Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 certification for general industry (having an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card is an advantage). State licensure such as electrician, refrigeration, or plumbing preferred. Experience leading and mentoring teams, with or without direct authority. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders at various organizational levels. The salary range for this position is $33.80-$48.60/hour USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM's comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, generous health and well-being programs, a 401(k) and pension plan, career development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flexible work, time off allowances, free meals, and Sheraton/Marriott employee discount at participating hotels.
