Job Title: Forklift Operator/Production Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking FORKLIFT OPERATORS in Tuscumbia, Alabama (Muscle Shoals area).This is a full time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package. *Summary:Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:include the following. Other duties may be assigned. **

Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.

Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.

Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed

Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, and fills fuel tank.

Assists in inspecting machinery and identifying the needs for repairs and maintenance.

Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods.

Keeps record of inventory.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED preferred, Must have previous forklift experience
