SDET /Test Automation Engineer

What does a successful (SDET /Test Automation Engineer) do at Fiserv?

A successful SDET /Test Automation Engineer successful at Fiserv will design, develop, and execute automated tests by working with common test automation frameworks and tools

Integrating with CI/CD tools and pipeline.

What You Will Do

Triage, troubleshoot and document defects
Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities as part of an agile development team
Setup, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on application platforms and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet user needs

What You Will Need To Have

Adaptability in Dynamic Settings: Comfortable and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with experience working in Scrum
Independence in Work: Must be able to work independently and provide daily status reports
Methodology Knowledge: Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and the role of QA/QE within a scrum team
Working Experience: Must have worked as an SDET in prior experience
Programming Languages:8 or more years of experience in using Python, JavaScript, or Java
Testing Tools:8 or more years of experience with Junit/TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, SQL, JSON
Cloud Computing Skills:2 or more years of experience in AWS Databases (Aurora or DynamoDB), with expertise in working in Cloud Environments
Automation Skills: Experience in writing test automation frameworks from scratch, and must have automated both front end and backend in prior jobs and if experience with Data Science and AI/ML is preferred

What Would Be Great To Have

Financial Industry Experience
Experience with pytest and unitest
Experience with Security testing and awareness of OWASP guidelines

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
