Handle meter inventory to and from all company areas. Prove meters using bell and snap prover technology. Test/Repair all meter sizes and refurbish for company use. Test removed fixed factor regulators. Store and organize meters for company use. Operate forklift. Drive small meter truck from time to time when needed. Will use company computer for SAP systems to process email correspondence with Central Meter Shop, Billing and Accounting, and all Operation areas.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive and pack removed meters to prepare for testing/refurbishment.Test, repair, and refurbish meters as required.Receive and issue new and refurbished meters as required.Move meters through-out the inventory area, operate forklift, operate small meter truck.Clerical duties, emails, SAP system.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesTechnical knowledge of pipefitting, electronics or related field.Basic knowledge of electronics/electrical equipment.Good mechanical and analytical skillsFamiliarity with gas meters and how they functionFamiliarity with devices, ERTS and regulatorsBasic Computer knowledgeMust be in good physical conditionGood interpersonal and organizational skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentAt least 4+ years of relevant experienceValid PA drivers license We offer comprehensive benefits, some of which are:medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurancedisability plans401(k) matched savings planpaid vacationtuition reimbursementpaid parental leavepaid volunteer timeUGI Utilities, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
