Full Time Exempt | The Registered Dietitian is responsible for overall resident nutrition, quality control, diet modification, meal distribution, nutrition care plans and related documentation. Qualifications: Two years' experience as Registered Dietitian requiredCurrent Certified Dietary Managers Certification or State Qualified Dietitian for Long-Term Care requiredWorking knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulationsDemonstrated leadership skillsMust relate well to team members, residents and visitors Expectations: Completes all applicable nutrition assessment, goal planning and charting documentation through active participation assessment and care planning processAssists with the development and maintenance of food services policies, procedures and objectivesAssists with the creation of daily menu specials in accordance with all applicable Presbyterian Senior Living policies/procedures and applicable state/federal regulationsActively participates in the food services Quality Assurance ProgramAssists Director of Food Services in maintenance of accurate daily and monthly meal countsMaintains records, prepares and submits reports as required by community policy and governmental agenciesAssists Director of Food Services in maintaining safety of kitchen work areaMaintains a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with established guidelinesAssures maintenance of a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with established guidelines though daily inspections of work areas, dining room and pantry areaEnforces food services department cleaning schedulePresbyterian Senior Living is a large not-for-profit organization comprised of a variety of locations, services and levels of care.
