Extension is seeking a

primarily remote, IS Project Manager

with a specialty leading

Disaster Recovery (DR) projects

and initiatives

for a 6-9 month

contract

opportunity with one of our clients located in

Fitchburg, WI.

This company has a DR site in Fitchburg, Wisconsin and needs a PM to manage a project focused on a

Failover DR exercise . It sounds like they recently did bubble exercises/testing at their offsite DC (everything passed) and it was easier since the IS dept was self-sufficient with employee resources. However, the Failover exercises will require pulling employees from the business to help. They are currently scheduled to do failover tests in September.
Primarily Remote

(you may decide to come onsite for the product rollout or key points of the project)

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
Influence the project scope, outcomes, and budget as necessary
Meet with project sponsor(s) to dive deeper into the details of the project and core team members. Initial meetings result in the creation of the detail project and resource plan.
Communicating project updates & plans with all relevant stakeholders from the CIO to the Developers
Provide conflict resolution as needed
Planning and executing project deadlines and actionable tasks
Identify all tasks associated with project, including but not limited to, enterprise analysis, solution scope definition, technical product vision, needs assessments, architecture guidance, cost/benefit measurements, estimated hours, business priorities, etc.
Oversee the rollout and delivery of product

Desired Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of recent Disaster Recovery project management
A heavy background in Disaster Recovery projects
Understanding of IT infrastructure and the concepts/phases of SDLC

Pay/Compensation Information
Pay -- $60 - $100 per hour
