Essential Job Functions:
Establish budgets for multi-phase projects, including yearly inflation rates.
Conduct conceptual estimating for large-scale projects.
Oversee project development, including pro forma cost for the entire project.
Perform risk assessments prior to project kickoff to identify potential problems and provide solutions or safeguards.
Lead project teams to schedule, manage, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Manage continuous communication between internal and external project teams.
Ensure accurate monthly job costing, billing, and cash flow projections.
Utilize highly proficient computer skills and familiarity with PM estimating, accounting, and scheduling software.
Maintain thorough knowledge of General Construction Industry Standards, Codes, and Practices.
Ability to estimate Plans and Specifications and identify potential risk/issues.
Work with upper management on policy and technology implementation and development.
Participate in and contribute to company training program development and implementation.
Manage ongoing client and architectural relationships and develop new potentials.
Develop company presentations and lead interview teams.
Comprehensive understanding of market conditions, subcontractor markets, and cost and schedule implications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10 years in commercial construction as an APM and PM.
Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in Construction Management or related field.
Ability to write all-inclusive scopes of work based on project documents and actual construction processes.
Understanding of the intent of design and Project Specifications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency.
Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
The Sr. Project Manager will operate as an independent profit center, managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in different stages of construction, including project and client development. They must demonstrate a proven ability to run multiple large-scale projects above $30 Million.
