DescriptionTHIS POSITION IS FOR A FULL-TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT AT CEDAR PARK PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY. We love to have fun while taking care of patients and their families. Oak Dental Partners is a growing dental service organization (DSO) that supports several dozen partner locations across the country. Our goal is to help you grow and positively impact lives by improving the smiles, confidence, and overall health of our guests.Our Dental Assistant will assist our hygienist and pediatric dentist chair side, greet and escort patients, take radiographs as instructed by the provider, set up and break down operatories, clean operatory areas after each patient, and will stock all materials needed in the clinic daily. In addition, you will assist with sterilization and maintaining equipment and materials in accordance with OSHA, federal and state guidelines.There may be a need to support the front desk operations, schedule appointments, check in patients, and verify patient demographics, document treatments plans and other tasks in support of office administration.Basic Requirements:2+ years of experience.Radiology certification and RDA License.Coronal Polishing / Pit and Fissure Sealant CertificationFamiliarity with dental software and/or Denticon.Ability to lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodation.Preferred Qualifications:Be punctual with hours of operations.Should be proficient in taking radiographs.Competent with infection control procedures.Excellent communication and organization skills.Have some experience in treatment of patients with special healthcare needs, specifically patients with cognitive and developmental deficits.Ability to work with patient's parents, guardians, and care givers.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Should be a team-leader, self-motivated, well organized and have the ability to manage his/her time efficientlyBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceVision insurance Flexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offHolidays Short term and long-term disability insuranceUniform allowancePotential Bonuses Pet insuranceSchedule:Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4:30pm 6-8-week Friday Oral Surgery support.License/Certification: Radiology certification RDA LicenseCPR
