Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer administers, directs and monitors all hospital financial activities and keeps FMH CEO, Deaconess Leadership and the Board of Directors informed of the financial condition of the organization. Will develop financial goals and objectives for the organization, provides proactive and sound guidance regarding management of assets and investments, and financial trends within the organization. Also will be actively involved in hospital leadership, organizational performance and the growth of a team-oriented culture. This position will be on-site at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Successful CFO candidates will possess the following
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field with CPA preferred;
Masters in accounting or healthcare administration preferred;
Minimum of five years’ hospital financial management experience required;
Prior hospital CFO experience preferred;
Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
Excellent salary and Deaconess benefit package along with relocation provided.
CFO will be an employee of Deaconess Health System.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital
is a fully-accredited, not-for-profit critical access hospital. It has 25 acute-care beds and employs more than 250 employees. The medical staff at FMH is made up of more than 90 credentialed physicians and healthcare providers. It is accredited by the Joint Commission. FMH offers a number of services including a 30-bed Skilled Care Unit, Home Health Services, 24-hour emergency care, ICU, surgical services, diagnostic imaging, pulmonary and cardiac rehab and occupational, speech and physical therapies. FMH opened Horizon Healthcare in 2008, a certified hospital based-rural health clinic. It is now housed in a 25,486 square foot facility in Fairfield and has two other locations as well.
