The senior project engineer will work alongside both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on projects learning different aspects of the job and how our project managers maintain such strong client relationships. Apply Now Client Details Our Client is a leading general contractor in the Oregon area looking to expand their highly profitable commercial sector of their business. looking for someone that is ready to lead a team and work in an environment that fosters success in their commercial projects from hospitality, retail, and public works. They mainly do ground up, new construction, renovation, and tenant improvements. They are looking to expand their special project division within their Portland market, wanting to add someone with experience in the realm. Description Assuring all projects are built to drawings and specification Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders Assure all materials orders are executed Daily project paperwork Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines Maintain work flow and strong relations with subs Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc ) Coordinate subcontractor Partake and actively participate in company training sessions Has worked on commercial projects Profile Has a Bachelor's degree in construction/ engineering from an accredited University Commercial project experience (ground up, tenant improvement, and shell and core) Has worked on special projects within their career Degree in Construction Management or related degree 2+ year's experience in the field Strong mathematical and computer aptitude is also necessary Go getter attitude, wanting to expand and their knowledge and learn Skills with Procore, Bluebeam, Plan grid, scheduling, and Microsoft Job Offer Competitive salary & bonus commensurate with experience - salary typically between $90,000 to $100,000 depending on experience Full support needed to grow & enhance project management skills Full benefits package Projects based across the Portland area Clear development & growth plan Advancement opportunities within the organization MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
