**Description**

**Responsibilities**

* Responsible for monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods to and from CWI Logistics customers.

* Update and provide tracking information to customers as well as to internal managers.

* Monitor and report driver/carrier issues; such as missed appointments, on-time deliveries and OS&Ds.

* Responsible for setting appointments for inbound and outbound shipments for CWI Logistics.

* Enter customer and carrier rates in TMS in an efficient and accurate manner.

* Helps to ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.

* Assists in communicating freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.

* Handle high-volume data entry and high-volume telephone calls in a courteous, efficient manner. y

* Responsible for creating loads, entering reference numbers, input and tracking of all inbound and outbound orders for the customers and recording detention charges.

* Become a proficient user of the CWI Transportation Management System and associated components (TMS).

* Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

* Works closely with Logistics Manager and Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

**Education**

High school diploma and two years of general customer service experience in logistics/transportation; or equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the desired knowledge, abilities and skills.

**Knowledge and Experience**

* Minimum of Associates Degree required or related experience and/or training.

* Familiarity or ability to work with TMS tools (including order management, carrier selection, rating and routing functions)

* Proficient in MS Office, with emphasis on MS Excel

* Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills (verbal and written)

* Excellent multi-tasking skills.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

* Good analytical problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
