BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:
System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available- no mileage requirement
Current assignments available at Winter Haven Hospital - Winter Haven, FL-MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ORIENTATION THE WEEK OF JUNE 24TH OR JULY 8TH
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:
Registered Nurse license
BLS, ACLS and PALS are required.
Associate degree in nursing (ASN)
18 months current RN experience in an acute ER setting is required.
2 years current RN experience in an acute ER setting is strongly preferred.
Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
Flexibility
Travel Nurse experience preferred.
CEN preferred.
Location: Winter Haven, FL

Shift Hours: 6:45pm-7:15am
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
