We build the foundational layer that defines how organizations structure themselves, how users and customers are represented and verified, how funds are contained and owned, and how access is controlled./ph3Job Duties/h3p* Build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services in a microservices/distributed architecture/pp* Define internal and customer-facing APIs that serve as the building blocks for CDP/pp* Author technical design documents (TDDs), providing technical leadership and driving clarity across complex projects/pp* Lead end-to-end delivery of projects through implementation, deployment, and monitoring/pp* Improve and maintain operational excellence standards across the team, proactively addressing technical debt and driving improvements in reliability and observability/pp* Participate in code reviews and on-call rotation, lead incident response, and foster a team-wide environment that welcomes constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards/ph3Job Requirements/h3p* 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on backend systems/pp* Expertise in languages such as Golang (preferred), C, Rust or Python/pp* Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), caching systems (Redis, Memcached), and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)/pp* Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven architectures/pp* Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience with API development, integration and authentication protocols like OAuth and JWT/pp* Familiarity with AWS and containerization using Kubernetes/pp* Understanding of web security best practices and experience with implementing secure coding practices for financial systems/pp* Excellent communication and collaboration skills/pp* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience/ppNice to haves:/pp* Experience designing public-facing APIs/pp* Experience building financial platforms or fintech systems/pp* Experience with crypto/onchain ecosystem (but not required)/ppPay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
