We have an opportunity for an experienced Sr. Analyst, Group Universal Life to join our Health Delivery Voluntary Benefits team. What can you expect? Oversee annual carrier audits from a Group Universal Life compliance perspective to ensure compliance and accuracy in various processes. Handle carrier calls and communicate effectively with insurance providers. Address state regulation updates/changes requested by insurance providers. Manage customer and client escalations and address their concerns in a timely manner. Participate in client project/change calls hosted by CACs to ensure compliance needs are considered and met. We will count on you to: Undertake special projects and conduct research as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse tasks. Respond promptly and effectively to carrier Department of Insurance (DOI) requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing accurate and comprehensive information. On a daily basis, this individual also performs critical, mandatory regulatory tasks, including: 1035 Exchange Testing, 1035 Quizzes, Auto Increases / Peer Review, Creating New Target Rate Sheet, Account Limit Tax Testing – Decrease Testing, Monthly and Lump Sum Contribution Testing, Lump Sum Deposit Analysis, MetLife Annual DCS Rate Update/Audit, MetLife Annual Illustration Update/Audit, MetLife Quarterly Audit, Monthaversary Testing / Peer Review, NYL Quarterly OFAC Testing, Process Refunds. What you need to have: BA/BS degree preferred. Proven project management skills or benefits administration experience. Professional demeanor with strong communication and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple client projects and meet defined timelines. Results-oriented with the demonstrated ability to follow-through on issues to resolution. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Ability to work independently and have a proactive attitude to learn and investigate.
