Laser Table OperatorShift: 2nd 2:30pm to 1am Monday through ThursdayPay Rate: $18-$22hr DOELaser Table Operator ResponsibilitiesPerform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipmentSet up and stage raw materials at each work center for the day's productionPerform some machine alignment procedures and tip cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performanceMaintain a work area that does not compromise safety / 5SSome drawing and reading comprehension skillsMeasuring and marking out cuttingSetting up metalworking equipment including drill presses, flame cutters(plasma/laser)Checking designs specifications before commencing with cutting workFamiliarity with sheet metal flat patterns preferredLaser Table Operator QualificationsExcellent communication skills; verbal and writtenKnowledge of engineering design and manufacturing proceduresAbility to read and interpret engineering printsGood mathematical skillsAbility to lift and manipulate large metal objectsAbility to stand for long periodsAbility to perform several tasks concurrentlyEffective time management skills
