Key Responsibilities for Local CDL-A Driver

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within a designated region.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to clients and company destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
  • Maintain electronic logs of truck driving activities in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications for CDL-A Driver Position
  • Valid CDL-A driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
