**About the role**

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will develop and implement company policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, maintain compliance with all regulations, and lead and foster a culture of safety awareness.

**About the work**

* Develop health and safety policies, procedures, and programs for all company locations

* Establish and maintain strong trust-based relationships across the organization to ensure effective collaboration and a consistent and proactive approach to safety

* Provide employees with the required safety training in emergency procedures, workplace safety, regulations, and compliance

* Develop and lead a company safety program which raises safety awareness and encourages employee engagement to reduce risk, and help prevent accidents or injuries from occurring

* Analyzes inspections and incident data, and develops metrics to continuously improve safety

* Lead facility and process inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, and to verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations

* Records, maintains and reports inspection and injury incidents and submits reports as required

* Performs other related duties as assigned

**About you**

* Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field (Masters preferred) with 5 years of experience managing safety; preferably in a manufacturing

* In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards; Fed DOT Hazmat compliance a plus

* Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office Suite; Confluence/Jira a plus
