CIS brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial marketsJob Summary:The candidate will have knowledge and experience with signal processing algorithms and techniques in both the analog and digital domains. This includes experience programming for fixed-point and floating-point Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) such as Texas Instruments and Analog Devices. The candidate must demonstrate understanding of basic signal topics such as Nyquist theorem, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and I/Q imbalance. Advanced candidate will have experience with modem signal processing and analysis techniques such as filter design, discrete Fourier transforms (DFTs), beamforming, Forward Error Correction (FEC) and equalizers.This position is an onsite role.Not Relocation Eligible - Relocation assistance not availableResponsibilities to Anticipate:Investigating and developing RF technologies and techniquesValidating the resulting RF concepts through test, measurement, and characterization in an RF lab environmentAssignments will range from initial research and prototyping to full solution developmentBasic Qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Understanding of RF systems including: antennas, power amplifiers, RF circuits, analog circuits, A/D & D/A convertersUnderstanding of various modulation techniques such as: ASK, PSK, FSK and QAMKnowledge of radio architectures including radio topics such as: PA compression, intermodulation, phase noise, harmonics, products, LO leakage, etcPrior RF lab environment experience with extensive knowledge of assorted test equipmentExperience in radio design / trouble-shooting with expertise in RFUse expertise to perform reverse engineering to find root cause through unique test bench setupAn active and in-scope Top Secret clearance Required.Preferred Qualifications:Experience as a task lead for small (
