Services include supply chain management, logistics management, testing and inspection services, and packaging and kitting.Your responsibilitiesJob SummaryPlan, direct, coordinate, and manage the transportation operations within a facility or across facilities, as determined.Job Description Key Accountabilities: Manage and direct staff and activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles. Management of function and/or facility to meet budget and business objectives Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper issues. Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with government regulations, administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and Lean program. Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members. Maintain CTPAT, ISO and TISAX certifications. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree or some college in pursuit of same is preferred. 1-2 years previous experience in a management or supervisory role. 3-5 years prior experience in the transportation industry. Solid knowledge of government regulations within the trucking industry. Strong time management and coordination skills, verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking/problem resolution ability.
