Overview:
Assists in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining room areas. Consistently meets or exceeds standards for guest service and cleanliness. Duties will include food running and bussing tables as needed. Is familiar with and complies with the Sacred Rock Inn standards and philosophy in performing all key areas of accountability and other essential duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No previous experience is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must pass all applicable background check requirements.
Serv Safe Certification or ability to become certified is required.
CPR certification may be recommended.
Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
*Includes a gas benefit per shift for qualifying employees
*We have Full Time, Part Time, and Temporary positions available
Responsibilities: Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Sacred Rock Inn/Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
Properly wash and store all table service items.
Properly wash and store all food prep and service items.
Help bus/clear/re-set tables if requested.
Sweep and mop kitchen floor, including under appliances and sinks.
Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces including inside sinks.
Disassemble and clean stove top.
Clean dishwasher and replace product after shift.
Empty garbage and recycling, breaking down boxes for recycling.
Clean garbage and recycling cans.
Replace and organize sheet pans in refrigerator and freezer.
Assist cooks with food preparation if needed.
Prep fruit and potatoes for next breakfast shift.
Rotate and organize produce deliveries.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum dining room and lounge area.
Hot mop service walkway outside kitchen.
Wipe down all dining room tables, lounge counters, chairs and wash placemats.
Will bus tables and assist servers with running food to tables as needed.
Perform all duties in a safe manner as outlined in the codes of safe practices learned in the Safe Serv Course.
Report all accidents/injuries to supervisor and/or MOD immediately regardless of severity. Any safety gear must be used/worn at all times.
Adhere to the Sacred Rock Inn key control policy.
Move and arrange furniture.
Keep storage areas neat and organized.
Alert manager if cleaning supplies need to be ordered.
