Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engine design and development, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering projects from concept to production. The Engineering Manager will oversee a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engine designs that meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Daily Tasks

Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop innovative and launch new engine designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to ensure the successful execution of engine development projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of engine designs.
Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with design standards, performance requirements, and cost targets.
Identify and implement design improvements and cost reduction initiatives to enhance the competitiveness of our engine designs.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the engineering team.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in engine design and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong technical background in engine design, including knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Experience with engine design software, such as GT-Suit, CAD, and FEA tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel as needed to support project activities.

A manufacturing environment may require heavy lifting and manual labor.

HOURS

1st shift (standard work week, automatic overtime built into each Friday)

Monday Thursday 7:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
