As a User Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by establishing and expanding relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for promoting our portfolio of life sciences technology solutions to end-users, including researchers, clinicians, and laboratory personnel. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering solutions that advance scientific discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Execute and improve sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned territory or customer segment.
  • Product Expertise: Become proficient in understanding the features, benefits, and applications of our technology products.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and end-users through effective communication and product demonstrations.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotations, and demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer support, and product development to ensure customer satisfaction and product improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the life sciences industry, preferably selling user licenses.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or similar CRM experience (1-3 years)
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and effectively communicate complex scientific and technological concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience in the healthcare or scientific industry
  • Familiarity of basic antibody research applications
