A Civil Engineering Firm that specializes in engineering design and surveying for light industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential uses is looking for a Civil Design Engineer. In this position you will be preparing plans and specifications, design considerations and reports and permit applications for various types of Civil Engineering projects. Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software is strongly desired.

Job Responsibilities:

* Under the direction and supervision of other Engineers be able to prepare Paving, Grading, Drainage and Utility plans for land development and infrastructure projects.

* Assist with the prepare calculations, reports relating to project submittals, and applications for all necessary regulatory permits.

* Help the team manage project schedules to achieve project milestones and deliverable work product,

* Assist with the resolution of construction issues and conduct site observations.

* Ability to support the Project Managers and other team members as necessary to produce the project.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

* B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.

* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Design Engineer

* Working knowledge of AutoCad and Civil 3D

* Familiarity with ICPR and SSA for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis

* Experience in drainage systems design

* Strong understanding of Grading, Planning, and Zoning principles

* Pond Pack software experience preferred

* PE License highly preferred
