Does this spark your interest? If so, we'd love to hear from you What We Are Looking For A JARS Delivery Driver/Curbside Specialist is much more than just an average delivery driver. You are a cross trained individual who can function in all store departments as well as provide exceptional customer service at the door and behind the wheel. This position is for an individual looking to showcase a multi-faceted skillset in a fast paced, contagiously enthusiastic environment. Strong attention to state and CRA compliance rules and regulations is required for this role. The Delivery Driver role offers candidates an opportunity to gain experience in the fast-growing cannabis industry while providing JARS customers with access to high quality, safe, and legal cannabis products. Job Duties Deliver orders to customers in an efficient and timely manner Work scheduled shifts and follow the company's attendance policy Follow all delivery safety and CRA rules policies Communicate in a timely and effective manner when issues arise while making deliveries Promote the perks of being a JARS customer (Loyalty Program, Referrals, etc.) Verify correct cash amounts during transactions Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied Understand the operations of curbside and fill in when needed Verify customer information upon delivery per CRA rules and regulations Escalate customer issues to upper management when appropriate Maintain a positive, caring attitude, and treat both customer and co-workers with respect Fill in when short-staffed and be willing to be cross-trained Follow and integrate JARS company policies and procedures with on-the-job interactions, tasks, and behaviors Listen and respond to customer and coworker needs/requests appropriately and timely Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing Requirements Minimum 1 year of customer service experience working within a retail, sales and/or hospitality environment Minimum 1 year of delivery experience is preferred, but not required Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications Must be able to handle fast-paced situations and multi-task Must have a valid drivers license Must pass a MVR background check Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills Uses basic math skills Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required Must be willing to submit to a background check Company Provides Company vehicle (unmarked) GPS and vehicle safety system Company Cell Phone (for delivery utilization only) Work Atmosphere/Physical Demands Requires prolonged driving and/or constant back and forth walking Involves frequent contact with patients and staff Will require working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion Employee Benefits Employee Assistance Program Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (full-time employees only) 401(k) Plan Paid Sick Leave Employee Discount Internal Growth Opportunities JARS Cannabis is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
