As a MRO Buyer, you will procure indirect materials during which you will be ensuring on time deliveries to meet production build schedules, maintain a well balance inventory levels constant communication with suppliers and our production teams, and other activities to help with the office maintenance.Duties will include, but not be limited to the following: Responsible for purchasing and negotiating all MRO materials, equipment, and supplies. Maintain day to day communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, system data integrity, and ordering parameters for individual materials. Work with finance using Tungsten to clear invoices, resolve any issues in order to pay the suppliers on time. Publish monthly information, excel charts of open past dues, unvouchered invoices and Tungsten status. Oversee the contractor that does the cleaning, make sure the areas are clean, order supplies, scheduled overtime. Coordinate trash pickups. Pick up and distribute the daily correspondence. Organize the conference rooms for when we have visitors or events. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Perform a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Understand the dynamics of effective teamwork in order to attain higher levels of performance Demonstrate a commitment to engage teams in other departments or divisions of the organization. Required Skills 100 bilingual English/Spanish Strong written and verbal communication skills- Bilingual: English/Spanish Ability to effectively work in a team. Knowing role on team, based on project/task Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve goals through influence Cultural knowledge and sensitivity Possess and analytical mindset Ability to adapt to system/technology changes as well as use of current systems Strong organizational skills Ability to blend multiple sources of data to formulate opinions and recommendations Exposure to global thought process and diversity. Have ability to follow and challenge Standard Work processes daily Ability to identify roadblocks in material/information flow and manage exceptions Knowledge of Windows base programs to work our MRP system of JD Edwards Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge in Microsoft Office Demonstrated Risk Awareness and Mitigation Good personality, respectful of others and good attitude Ability to multitask.
