Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in power systems engineering, including renewable energy integration and grid analysis. Proficiency in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, IPSA or PowerWorld. Experience developing or implementing bespoke automation to power network analysis (typically using Python, C++, and VBA languages etc.). Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients. Knowledge of UK energy regulations, standards, and industry trends. Membership or eligibility for membership with relevant professional engineering associations (e.g., IET, CIGRE).
