VNA Home Health Aide

Join us on the water at Adams Inn in Quincy on Tuesday June 25th anytime between 2-6:30 to meet with hiring managers for on the spot interviews. Home Health Aides provide care to our patients in their homes. All shifts available. Must have a vehicle, love interacting with patients and families, and have good communication skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing all required responsibilities/duties addressing the ages and condition of the patients served.
  • Providing direct patient care determined, observed, supervised and documented on plan of care by a professional clinical provider.
  • Performing delegated tasks as authorized by the professional clinical provider.
  • Documenting patient status and care given, as reflected on required records.
  • Participating in and identifying ways to improve the quality of care being provided to the patient.
  • Fostering a “Culture of Safety” through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
Good communication skills, which includes ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively. Must be able to drive/or use public transportation to patients’ homes. Requirements include:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Eligibility for Home Health Aide certification.
Work schedule includes Monday through Friday 8-430, 1 Sunday every 1-2 months, and 1-2 holidays per year (Rotating).
