Sr. Process Engineer

The Sr. Process Engineer DMG, focused on CVD diamond growth and fabrication, will lead production process development initiatives to improve yields and process throughputs. The scope includes the continuous improvement of existing processes and equipment and developing innovative new approaches and manufacturing equipment.Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesEffectively uses statistical and quality tools for problem solving, improving process control and quality, reducing cost and cycle time, and resolving process yield issues. Process charting is effectively used to communicate and solve process problems.Uses statistical process control to demonstrate appropriate controls for directing the process into the optimal process window. Theories of fundamental process dynamics are developed and secure the process to established scientific and engineering principles.Effectively advances yields, quality, and throughput of production-scale processes.
